1948-2023
Delmas Pratt began his career in the "cabinet business" in Moorefield, WV as a kitchen and bath installer during the early 1970's. After several years, Delmas was promoted to Manager of a kitchen and bath products dealer not yet established in Winchester, VA. With over fifteen years as a Manager, he decided to start his own kitchen and bath products dealership, Cavalier Kitchens & Baths, Inc, in a joint venture with his future business partner Scott Dyke.

Scott Dyke, a Winchester native, began his career at American Woodmark's manufacturing facilities right here in Winchester (formerly known as Boise Cascade). With many years of manufacturing and operations management, he became Sales Manager at the same kitchen and bath products dealer managed by Delmas Pratt. In 1989, Scott and his future business partner, Delmas Pratt, formed Cavalier Kitchens & Baths, Inc., which still leads the community with outstanding reputation and commitment to providing the best in kitchen and bath products, design and service in the area.
